Lantern Island Lights Featured in Traditional Home Magazine

The article in which our custom made hanging Charleston Collection CH 23 lanterns are featured, is entitled “chic Tennessee Farm House”. The article showcases a beautiful modern design inspired home in Franklin, Tennessee, carefully designed and decorated by Nashville design heavy hitter Rachel Halvorson.

Throughout the home, there are a vast array of beautiful designer inspired pieces, carefully appointed and selected interior and exterior lighting, and works of art which make the home both warm and stunning. The lights selected by Halvorson are sold exclusively by Lantern and Scroll, and manufactured in America in Cayce, South Carolina, like all of our showroom lighting, by our parent company, The Copper Lighting Company.

The lanterns are available in gas and electric, however, as they are featured indoors, electric was used with a 3 light brass cluster. This compliments the lanterns very well, and looks fantastic with the black powder coat paint on the lights, which creates a modern, yet classic design aspect. The lights are sensibly hung over an island kitchen in a set of two, which is a great use for the space. For smaller kitchens a single lantern, such as our Charleston Collection CH 11 hanging light fixture, can he hung to provide kitchen lighting, or for a larger space up to 3 or 4 lanterns can be hung in a row (check out our John Street Collection, JS 1 or JS 2 lights), providing a perfect stage for gourmet cooking, socializing, and entertainment. Although Black powder coating was selected, we offer a full range of power-coated colors from blue, to white, to grey to yellow. Our classic signature finishes of pure raw copper, and oil rubbed bronze are also beautiful and make a fine addition to any space, indoors or out.
